Adult Sunday Learning: Grow in Faith and Knowledge

At Cumberland United Methodist Church (CUMC), we invite adults of all ages to join us for Sunday Learning classes, held at 11:15 AM each Sunday. These classes provide an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Bible while exploring its relevance to our lives today.

Our Christian Living class delves into various books of the Bible, offering thoughtful discussion and reflection. From biblical studies to engaging Christian book series, we explore how Scripture applies to modern living.

Whether you’re new to studying the Bible or looking to grow in your faith, our multi-generational classes are a welcoming space for everyone. For added convenience, the class is available in-person at the church and also on Zoom, so you can join us from wherever you are.

Come and be part of a vibrant community committed to learning and living out God’s Word together!

Join a Wesley Group: Deepen Your Faith in Community

Our Wesley Groups, named after John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, are designed to foster meaningful connections and spiritual growth. Based on the principles outlined in The Class Meeting by Kevin Watson, these small groups provide a safe, supportive space to share and reflect on your personal faith journey.

In each group, you’ll have the opportunity to share how your relationship with God has been shaping your life over the past week. Confidentiality is essential to ensure trust and safety within the group.

If you’re seeking a more intimate connection with God and others, our Wesley Groups may be the perfect place for you. We meet on:

  • Tuesdays at 1:00 PM
  • Tuesdays at 6:30 PM

Come join us as we grow together in faith and community!
